Who we are (controller). IGNYRO ("the app") is published by Espírito Rebelde – Publicidade e Marketing, Unipessoal, Lda., NIPC (Portuguese company and tax number) 509360378, registered office at Rua da Fábrica, 222, Armazém 2, Vila Nova da Telha, 4470-768 Maia, Portugal. In short. Everything you enter in the app stays on your phone. Your training data stays only on your phone; we have no server for it, you do not create an account, and we never receive your workouts, your body weight or any other data you enter. Only if you make an in-app purchase does our server receive the details of that purchase. The app has no advertising, no analytics and no third-party trackers.
What the app stores on your phone. Your workouts, routines, exercises, sets, loads, body weight, body measurements, your weight goal (adults only), your preferences (units, language, reminders), your year of birth (the year only, never the full date) and the gym membership cards you save (the card name and its code; the app does not keep a photo of the card). Body weight, measurements and training data are data concerning health under Article 9 of the GDPR, and the app keeps them only in its private storage on your phone.
Where your data is. In the app's private storage on your phone. The app does not send it to us or to anyone else. You can make a copy yourself with the export (see "Export and deletion"); where that copy goes is your choice.

Legal basis. We do not receive the training data you enter in the app, so we do not process it. The app only stores it on your phone so that you can use it. For the scanner diagnostics, Google determines how ML Kit data is used, under Google's terms and privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy); our basis for including the scanner is our legitimate interest in offering an optional check-in that works on the phone (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). Notifications need your permission, which you give and withdraw in the phone's settings. The details of an in-app purchase are processed to perform the purchase contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR); after the purchase ends, we keep the records to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR).
Camera (optional check-in)
The app asks for camera permission only when you choose to scan your gym card. The image is read on your phone and is not stored or sent. You can also import a picture of the card from your gallery; it is read on the phone and not kept. If you refuse the permission, everything else in the app works.
What the app does not have in this version
- No account and no sync. There is no sign-in and no copy of your training data on a server of ours.
- No AI Coach. The Coach is not part of this version.
- No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising.
If a future version adds sync or the Coach, we will update this policy before that version is distributed, and the new features will only work after you choose to turn them on.
In-app purchases
The app may offer optional purchases (a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-off purchase) made through Google Play. Google handles the payment; we never receive your card or other payment details. To confirm a purchase, the app sends our server the product identifier and the proof of purchase (purchase token) issued by Google Play, and the server checks it with Google. We keep that proof and the purchase status while the purchase is active and, after that, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. We do not link these purchases to your training data, which stays only on your phone. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Google Play.
Exercise images
The exercise images are the app's own images and are included in the app package. Exercises without an image of their own are shown without an image. No image is downloaded from the internet.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. Your training data we do not receive at all.
International transfers
We do not transfer your training data. Google may process the scanner diagnostics, Play data and payment data outside the European Economic Area under its own rules and safeguards, as described in Google's privacy policy.
How long data is kept
- On your phone: until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app.
- Copies you exported or shared: these are outside our control.
- Google: under Google's own rules.
Export and deletion
- Export. You can export your data as a JSON file from the app's settings. The app does not encrypt that file. Once you share it, we cannot delete it.
- Automatic copy on change. If you turn on "Auto-backup on changes" (off by default), the app keeps one dated copy a day in its private storage, after you finish a workout or edit a routine. The copy stays on the phone, is not sent anywhere and is not encrypted.
- Deleting your data. In the app's settings, «Erase all data on this phone» deletes your plan, workouts, body weight, measurements, gym cards, preferences and the automatic copies. It does not delete exports you saved or shared elsewhere. Uninstalling the app also deletes everything the app stored.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to and port your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because your data stays on your phone, you exercise these rights directly in the app (view, edit, export and erase). If you have any question, or believe we hold data about you, write to support@ignyro.app; we reply within one month (Article 12(3) of the GDPR). For the data processed by Google, you can also use Google's own tools.
You have the right to complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), www.cnpd.pt, or to the data protection authority of the country where you live.
Children and minors
The app is not for children under 13. On first launch the app asks only for your year of birth (not the date). If you are under 13 the app does not open and nothing is saved. Users from 13 to 17 can log training and body weight; the weight goal is available only to users aged 18 and over. The year of birth stays on your phone.
Security
Data on your phone is kept in the app's private storage, which other apps cannot read. The app does not add its own encryption on top of the protection your phone already provides. System backups are turned off for the app, so your data is not copied to a cloud backup by Android. Protect your phone with a screen lock.
Not medical advice
The app is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Talk to a health professional before you start or change any training or weight programme.
Changes
If we change how the app handles your data, we update this policy and the date above before the change takes effect.
